Catherine Shaw Named after a long-deceased matriarch of the family owners,
Catherine Shaw is a somewhat cramped gift shop that has cups, mugs, postcards,
jewelry, and souvenirs. It's a good place for easy-to-pack gifts. Look for another

Felix & Oscar This shop stocks off-beat cards and toys, kitsch accessories,

Mackintosh Shop This shop, recently moved to the basement of Glasgow School
of Art, prides itself on a stock of limited-edition art, books, cards, stationery, mugs,
glassware, and sterling-and-enamel jewelry created from or inspired by the original
designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Only authorized Mackintosh goods are sold

Geoffrey (Tailor) Kiltmakers & Weavers Both a retailer and manufacturer of
tartans, which means they have all the clans and have also created their own range

Hector Russell Founded in 1881, Hector Russell is Scotland's long-established
Inverness-based kiltmaker. Crystal and gift items are sold on street level, but the real
heart and soul of the place is below, where impeccably crafted and reasonably priced
tweed jackets, tartan-patterned accessories, waistcoats, and sweaters made from
