With the rectangle selected, click the Fill color in the Control panel and then select the
swatch named Wood Grain, to paint the rectangle with a gradient.

Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) the eye icon ( ) to the left of the
TV body layer name to view the artwork for that layer in Preview mode.
In the Layers panel, notice the selected-art indicator ( ) to the right of the bottom
<Path> sublayer. Also note that you cannot see the shape on the artboard, since it is on
the bottom of the layer stack, behind the other two <Path> objects.
