points to a path.
1.
Select the Selection tool ( ) in the Tools panel.

Choose View > Fit Artboard In Window.

Click the second cherry from the right (an arrow is pointing to it in the figure), choose
Edit > Copy, and then choose Edit > Paste.

Drag the cherry to the top of the ice cream shape. See the next figure.

Choose Object > Arrange > Send To Back.

With the Direct Selection tool ( ) selected, click the edge of the ice cream path.

Select the Zoom tool ( ) in the Tools panel, and click three times,
slowly

cherry at the top of the ice cream path to zoom in.

Select the Pen tool ( ) in the Tools panel, and position the pointer over the ice cream
path to the right of the anchor point you dragged down. When a plus sign (+) appears to
the right of the Pen tool pointer ( ), click to add another point to the path.
