Start at the trailhead at the gate on the east side of the parking area. Follow the trail down
a slope and over a bridge.

Continue following the asphalt trail with a slight bend right (east)

After going down a minor slope, reach a bridge that crosses a stream that joins the bayou.
Then continue following the trail.

The asphalt trail changes to a surface of small packed granite. Follow the trail, which
curves slightly right.

Reach a T and turn right, heading south to begin the Robin Loop.

Pass residences within 10 feet of the right trail edge, and then pass a concrete flood-con-
trol structure down a slope on the left.

Cross over a small metal culvert. Residences are still in view just past a fence on the
right.

Following the trail north, pass through the park gate and then come to a T at Whittington
Road. Turn left (east), following along Whittington. Take a hard left, heading north, as
Robin Loop meets the sidewalk. Use caution—this is a busy street.

Continue following the trail due north and pass a concrete flood-control structure down a
slope on the left.

Reach the end of the loop at the T. Turn right (west) and backtrack to the trailhead.
