Terry Hershey Park: Robin
and Robin Loop Trails
This hike is for those who enjoy a hike with a change of pace. The trail presents two faces. The first sec-
tion traverses up and down gentle slopes with woods and follows Buffalo Bayou. The second section is
an easy loop that follows a concrete drainage canal, surrounded by a few trees and residences. Each sec-
tion of the trail has its own name. The section following the bayou is Robin Trail; the other is Robin
Loop.
Distance: 2.2-mile lollipop
Approximate hiking time: 1.5 hours
Difficulty: Easy; relatively flat, mostly paved trail
Trail surface: Asphalt, concrete, crushed granite
Best season: Year-round
Other trail users: Cyclists, in-line skaters, dog walkers
Canine compatibility: Leashed dogs permitted

Finding the trailhead: From the junction of I-10 West and US 90, go 15.1 miles west
on US 90. Take exit 753B and drive 0.3 mile to Dairy Ashford Street. Turn left onto
South Dairy Ashford Street and drive 0.5 mile. Turn into the parking lot at 1001 South
Dairy Ashford St. The Terry Hershey Park gate and trailhead are located at the end of
