Arranging Images
Now that we have talked about all the ways that you can open an image in Photoshop, we
need to take a quick look at how to arrange those images within your Workspace. As you
become more familiar with Photoshop, the value of these options will become more clear to
you. At this time, I just want to make you aware that you have many options when it comes
to displaying images in your Workspace.
Figure 19 shows the numerous options for arranging your images in Photoshop. The most
commonly used arrangement is Consolidate All to Tabs . With this choice, only one image
at a time is displayed in your Workspace, but you can quickly and easily change to a differ-
ent image by simply clicking on the tab for that image. If you have more images open than
the allotted space for tabs, you will see >> at the far right of the Tabs Bar. If you click on
it, a drop-down menu will display a complete list of all open files. You can then select your
desired image from that list.
