Review
There are four
Interface Options
(colors) for the
Workspace
.
They can be accessed by selecting
Edit > Preferences > Interface
The
Workspace
has five main areas
The Menu Bar
— Across the top of the workspace — Always the same
The Tool Bar
— Down the left side by default, but moveable — Always the same groups
The Options Bar
— Contents determined by active tool.
Panels
— Down the right side by default, but moveable.
The Display Area
— The central workspace where images are viewed and modified.
The Workspace has a number of
Presets
intended to improve efficiency related to specific
tasks. You can choose any
Preset
from a drop-down menu in the upper right of the
Work-
space
. You can also open as many
Panels
as you like by checking them in the
Window
Menu. If you find that there are specific
Panels
that you use most of the time, you can cre-
ate and name your own
Preset
. You can create as many
Presets
as you like by choosing
Window > Workspace > New Workspace
If you close a
Panel
and need to reopen it, you can select it from the
Window
drop-down
menu.
