We have 16 options in the Adjustment Layers Menu. They are grouped by Tonal, Color, and
General.
An adjustment layer does not affect the pixels in any layer and is totally independent of the
other layers.
Adjustment layers alter the HISTOGRAM without affecting anything else.
Numerous adjustment layers can be applied to a single image. Their affect is cumulative.
