Using Layers to Create Print Ads, Brochures, and Book Covers
The topic of Layers is so extensive that we will only be able to scratch the surface in this
book, but I wanted to give you something that you can use immediately. You may not have
an immediate need for print ads or book covers, but the process of creating these will teach
you a lot about Layers. So let's start by using the cover for this topic as an example.
Figure 45
shows the primary layers that were used to create the cover of this topic. We will
be repeating the process to demonstrate some important aspects of working with layers.
