Many more open source hardware 3D printers are being developed, and many of them
are raising money on Kickstarter and other crowd-source funding venues such as In-
diegogo. 18 For example, Fabtotum is an open source 3D printer that aimed to hit the mar-
ket in September 2014, selling for $1099 as a preassembled device and $999 as a kit.
