Dry cleaning is tough on circuits. This cleaning method often uses high heat and harsh
chemicals, which can damage wearable electronics. Since we tend to think of dry cleaning
when we think of delicate garments, it is a common misconception that it is better for
wearables than simply hand washing them gently in the bathroom sink. Dry cleaning
should be avoided unless it is the only option (as with a big wool coat, for example).
