In the modifier menu, you will now see additional options for the Boolean modifier. In
the new options, click the
Intersect
button to reveal a selection menu. Select the
Differ-
ence
option. Just to the right, click in the empty box with the small cube. This will reveal
a menu of available objects that can be used to cut away at the selected lid. Select the
Open Hardware logo object/model. Finally, click the
Apply
button in the Boolean modifi-
er to apply the difference modifier. To see the cut that has been made, select the logo mod-
el and delete it. You should now see an Open Source Hardware logo cut out of the lid of
the case (
Figure 8.6
).
