GALATA MEVLEVİI MUSEUM
(Galata Mevlevihanesi Müzesi; Galipdede Caddesi 15, Tünel; 40; performances 4pm Sun; Karaköy,
then funicular to Tünel) The 15th-century semahane at this tekke is the venue for a sema held
most Sundays during the year. Tickets are only available on the day of the performance and
often sell out - your best bet is to head to the museum and purchase tickets well ahead of
the performance (the ticket office opens at 9am).

ue near the Galata Tower is run by jazz guitarist Önder Focan and his wife Zuhal. Per-
formers include gifted amateurs, local jazz luminaries and visiting international artists. It's
small, so you'll need to book if you want a decent table.
