runs on top of BigInsights, which is used to discover and analyze why they
are saying it.
Wrapping It Up
A Big Data platform and the applications that are built upon it aren't meant
to be a silo. To be actionable, the insights that are derived from Big Data must
be shared, and the platform that's most capable of integration is the one that
delivers the most value. IBM's Big Data platform has numerous integration
points with analytical applications, enterprise applications, enterprise repos-
itories, and platform plug-ins, making it the most comprehensive Big Data
platform in terms of functionality and integration capabilities.
Figure 11-1 illustrates the effectiveness of integration, and showcases what
IBM has accomplished with its Big Data platform.
