Following apps were tested: Teamviewer, WebPager, Cloud Dashboard, Tia-
Portal Automation.
During the integration with other resources in the control system additional
applications such as: Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework and .NET 4.0 Assemblies
Labview Hotfix were required. To control the robot an external handheld device
was used. For tests the tablet computer (based on Android 4.0) was selected. The
way of communication was performed by means of standardized web browser.
This section presents three methods for sharing the program's by any optional
web browser. Online Internet tools compatible with Labview software were cho-
sen to carry out the tests. The first way of communication is shown in the Web
Publishing Tool (Fig. 3). The application is the Labview embedded one and
share virtual instruments (VI) by means of a web browser. The Web Publishing
Tool, however, has not fulfilled its task because the party could be opened only
on the computer where the VI was known. There were also some problems with
using LAN.
Another application for sharing the workspace on the Internet is an applet
called WebPager Labview (Fig. 4).
