Business Intelligence: An Essential Tool in the
Identification of Organizational Internal Talent

Abstract. Although the rampant importance in Human Resources Management
often Talent remains operationally just by having a connotation of organizational
forefront. However, given the huge and increasingly investment in the
development of Talent programs, the goal of this paper is to provide a tool for the
design and implementation of indicators that allows organizations identifying
their talented one's, in a more proficient manner, using Business Intelligence
systems. Through the match between specific strategies, processes and practices,
this paper will set up theoretical and managerial contribution, mainly in the
Human Resources domain.

Introduction
In contemporary times, due to the complexity of various constraints in the economic,
financial, legal and labor field, organizations are limited in attracting new workers,
new Talent. Given the growing demands and increasingly changing of the
competitive markets where they operate, this can be a restraint to their sustainability
and success.
Consequently it is important to measure the quality of the held human capital, in
order to optimize the usual and permanent investment, strategically identifying
internal talent, more effectively, seeking the know-how and skills, which allows
organizations to do more and better with the same resources [1].
This paper purpose is to provide a tool for the design and implementation of
indicators that allows organizations identifying their internal Talent, in a win-win
perspective. This will be the starting point for the development of the concept of
Talent and its operational management in the identification of talented workers and
for their proficient and efficient admeasurement using Business Intelligence systems.
From a conceptual perspective of segmented Talent we developed this paper, sub-
dividing it in three stages: (1) Business Intelligence: as investment in management
