ground make for an enjoyable outing for kids and adults alike.

Special considerations: The park's fields are very popular on weekends for soccer and
flag football games. The dog park also draws crowds, so parking can be a pain.
Finding the trailhead: From Dallas, take Airport Freeway (also called Texas High-
way 183) then take Texas Highway 360 north and exit at Mid-Cities Boulevard. Turn
left heading west onto Mid-Cities Boulevard and go about a half mile. Turn left at Bear
Creek Parkway. The park is about 0.25 mile on the right. The trailhead is by the parking
lot, next to the dog park. GPS: N32 51.901' / W97 04.156'
The Hike
Just a couple of miles west of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, this trail follows Little Bear
Creek just before it meets up with Big Bear Creek and meanders along a tree-lined greenbelt through
two city parks. The four-acre dog park means lots of canines are typically walking along the paths, and
waste bags and periodic dumping stations are provided along the trail.
