Step Three:
If you decide maybe you went a bit too far in Liquify, normally you'd have to start over
from scratch. But, since you made this a smart object first, you can reopen the image with
your retouches still “live,” so you can edit them. To do this, just double-click directly on
the word “Liquify” (shown circled in red here) directly below the smart filter layer in the
Layers panel, and it reopens the layer in Liquify. Now all your edits are not only in place,
they're editable. For example, if you want to undo just part of your last edit (let's say you
wanted to undo the changes you made on the right side to her shoulder), you can just get
the Reconstruct tool ( R ; the second tool from the top in the Toolbox) and paint over that
area to return it to the original look while leaving the rest of your edits as-is.
