HDR Finishing Techniques (Vignetting, Sharpening & Soft Glow)
These are totally optional (but very popular) finishing moves for HDR images. I mentioned
these effects earlier in this chapter when I applied them to our projects as finishing moves.
But, I wanted to put them here separately so that if you wanted to just add one of these
finishing techniques, you wouldn't have to go fishing through all those steps to find them.
Step One:
Once you've processed your bracketed photos in Merge to HDR Pro, go under the Filter
menu and choose
Camera Raw Filter
(this is where we start our finishing moves by
adding a dark edge vignette). There are actually two different places to apply vignettes in
