In-Depth Information
If you shot these bracketed shots on a tripod, there's a pretty good chance that when you
paste this regular image on top of the HDR image they will be perfectly aligned with one
another. Just toggle the top layer on/off from view a couple of times (by clicking on the
Eye icon to the left of the image thumbnail in the Layers panel), and you'll see if they're
perfectly lined up (they have to be perfectly lined up for this technique to work). If you
hand-held your shots, there's a better than average chance they are not lined up perfectly,
so if they're not perfectly lined up, in the Layers panel, Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) on
the unselected layer to select them both. Then, go under the Edit menu and choose Auto-
Align Layers . When the dialog appears (shown here), make sure the Auto radio button is
selected, then just click OK. Don't mess with anything elseā€”just click OK and it does its
thing.
