Step Six:
There is one problem that is unique to this particular photo—the column on the left still
looks a little washed out, so get the Adjustment Brush
(K)
, click on the - (minus sign) but-
ton to the left of Highlights (to reset the sliders to 0), and then decrease the Highlights a
bit. Now, decrease the Shadows some, as well, and then paint over the column (as shown
here). A before/after is shown on the next page. Pretty striking difference, eh?
