Evapotranspiration is an important physical parameter in the hydrodynamic modeling of lakes. This
was taken into consideration in the model development through the application of an absolute flux and
net solar radiation heat flux model. This model takes into account the area of the water body, the sky
cloudiness and the monthly average data of relative humidity, air temperature and net radiation. The
evapotranspiration from water vegetation is accounted for as a percentage of the overall inflow into the
lake based on the water balance calculations for the lake. Figure (7-9a , 7-9b , 7-9c )s how respectively
the monthly average air temperature, relative humidity and solar radiation data for the simulation
period.
