At Location WE10 (Downstream Zone)
Figure (5-25) shows that the average monthly salinity entering downstream zone of Edko drain is
increased to 2.1g/l with a maximum avg. of 4.6 and a minimum avg. of 1.2 g/l.

The average yearly measurements for TN at that location reveal a very high concentration of TN
during the year 2004 with an average of 43.57 mg/l which exceeds the yearly averages from 20-30%.
These high concentrations at the location WE10 which is the confluence point of Edko drain with
Buosiely, are measured at Edko bridge, 8 km from lake entrance. The reason to this high concentration
could be due to discharge of untreated waste water or drainage water with high ammonia fertilizers.
Figure (5-26) shows these extreme events during 2005.
