APPENDIX B
SUGGESTED PACKING LIST
A lot of people ask me what they should pack when they travel. That's a hard question to answer because we all have our
own clothing and style preferences. I subscribe to the general rule of packing light. You quickly learn when you travel that
you don't need a lot of stuff. You can wear that shirt and those pants for a few days in a row. As the saying goes, “Take
double as much money and half as much stuff.” To help you with your packing, below is a list of what I carry with me:
CLOTHES
1 dress shirt for when I go out to a respectable place in the evening
1 pair of jeans because I like jeans. They may be heavy and not easily dried, but I wear them a lot.
A good alternative can be khaki pants.
1 pair of shorts
1 bathing suit
6 T-shirts
1 long-sleeve T-shirt
1 pair of flip-flops
1 pair of sneakers
8 pairs of socks
1 pair of black socks
1 pair of dress shoes
1 umbrella
7 pairs of boxer shorts (I'm not a briefs guy!)
Umbrella
TOILETRIES
1 toothbrush
1 tube of toothpaste
1 razor
1 package of dental floss
1 small bottle of shampoo
1 small bar of soap
hair gel
deodorant
SMALL MEDICAL KIT
Band-Aids
Hydrocortisone cream
