3-2087 Kaumualiʻi Hwy, Kilohana Plantation; adult/
teens 12-16yr/child 5-11yr $104/83/57; luau 5:30pm Tue & Fri;
) Skip the same-old com-
mercial luau and catch this mesmerizing dinner theater with a dash of Cirque du Soleil
(think lithe dancers, flashy leotards and pyrotechnics) thrown in. The thrilling stage play
about one family's epic voyage to Hawaii features hula and Tahitian dancing, and
showstopping, nail-biting Samoan fire dancing, and it's the only one of its kind on the is-
land.
The buffet dinner is above average, despite the audience size (typically 550, maximum
1000), and there's little cringe-worthy ʻembarrass the tourist' forced dancing.

pite the name, it's actually set across the road from the Kukui Grove Shopping Center
