1990 the Hotel Lanaʻi was the only hotel on the island. It seems little has changed here
over the decades, other than the conversations that echo through the thin walls. The 10
renovated rooms have hardwood floors, antiques, pedestal sinks, patchwork quilts and
more period pieces.
Go for a room with - appropriately - a lanai (a small porch) for viewing town, or opt
for privacy and quiet in the detached cottage out back. A modest continental breakfast is
provided.
