In-Depth Information
In addition to what follows, Travaasa Hana organises activities, including stand up pad-
dling and snorkeling, for their guests.
Lyon's Hill
HIKING
Former Hana Ranch owner Paul Fagan often ended his day with a walk up Lyon's Hill to
enjoy the view at sunset - and if you've got time you can follow in his footsteps. The big
cross topping the hill, a memorial to Fagan, is Hana's most dominant landmark. The
25-minute trail up Lyon's Hill starts opposite Travaasa Hana.
At the junction with the trail from the Hana Store area, bear right on the road to ascend
the hill.

crater. After he cuts the engine, enjoy a silent soar near the top of the world followed by
a no-engine glide back down the volcano's lush slopes.
Call a week in advance for a reservation. Otherwise, try your luck and see if Hans is at
the airport and ready to soar.
