What puts the fab in Fabiani's? Definitely the prosciutto, mozzarella and arug-
ula pizza with truffle oil. Or wait, maybe it's the linguini with sauteed clams. Or the chef-
made pastries - the macaroons, cinnamon rolls and croissants preening like celebrities as
you walk in the door.
Whatever your choice, you'll surely feel fabulous nibbling your meal inside this spark-
ling new Italian eatery and pastry shop that's the talk of south Maui. There's also a rather
nice bar.

) This breezy spot is Kihei's go-to spot for fresh, healthily prepared sea-
food. Order at the counter - we recommend the fish tacos - then settle in at one of the
seven surfboard tables. All the fish is grilled, all ingredients are homemade (except the
catsup), and the staff is welcoming.
With its quick service, simple entrées and low-fuss decor, Coconut's is a great choice
for families with younger kids.

The menu at this open-air bistro showcases comfort foods prepared with a
gourmet spin - think short rib pot pie and Gorgonzola alfredo. Give up your diet at
breakfast with banana bread French toast or the decadent whale pie with ham, hash
browns, eggs, cheese and brown gravy.
The eatery, which is owned by the folks running the ever-popular 808 Deli, is BYOB
with a $5 corkage fee.
