( 244-3100; www.mauiexposition.com ; Maui College, 310 Kaʻahumanu Ave; adult/child 11yr & un-
der 50¢/free; 7am-1pm Sat) For a scene that glows with aloha, spend a Saturday morn-
ing chatting with local farmers and craftspeople at Maui's largest outdoor market. You'll
not only find fresh organic Hana fruits, Kula veggies and homemade banana bread, but
it's also a fun place to souvenir shop for everything from jewelry and wood carvings to
handpainted coconuts and Maui-designed T-shirts. And hats. Lots of hats.
Make sure you're not misled by the term ʻswap meet' - most stands sell quality local
goods and every dollar you spend stays right here in the local community. The swap meet
is held directly behind the college campus, off Kahului Harbor Rd.
