Kanaha Beach Park
BEACH
When the wind picks up in the afternoon, this mile-long beach becomes surf city, with
hundreds of brilliant sails whipping back and forth across the bay.
Both windsurfing and kitesurfing are so hot here that the beach is divvied up, with
kitesurfers converging at the southwestern end, known as
Kite Beach
, and windsurfers
strutting their stuff at the northeastern end. It's mind-blowing to watch, and there are in-
structors waiting right on the beach if
you're
ready to fly.

all about wind power. Facilities include restrooms, showers and shaded picnic tables.
