on two custom-built catamarans that depart from the beach beside Whalers Village. The
easygoing sunset sail is an inspiring introduction to the gorgeous West Maui coast.
Snorkel sails and whale-watching outings are additional options, but no matter which
you choose, you'll find a congenial crew, an open bar/morning cocktail and decent food.
Note the cancellation policy and $5-per-person fuel charge.

ductory dive ($99) for novices starts with instruction in a pool and moves to a guided
dive from the beach. It also offers guided beach dives for certified divers. No rentals.
Walk up or make reservations through the 800 number, which is the American Express
Tours and Activities line.

in front of the Kaʻanapali Beach Hotel, these folks can get you up and riding a board
with a two-hour surfing lesson ($70). Snorkel sets rent for $20 per day and boogie boards
rent for $18 a day. Stand-up paddleboards cost $25 for the first hour then $15 for each
additional hour.
