FRIDAY TOWN PARTIES
If it's Friday night, suit up for a party in the streets. Created in 2011, the Maui Town
Parties celebrate local art, food and musicians. On the first Friday of the month the
party is held in downtown Wailuku. It moves to Lahaina the second Friday, followed
by Makawao and Kihei on the 3rd and 4th Fridays respectively. For exact locations,
check www.MauiFridays.com . Festivities start at 6pm.
Festivals & Events
Lahaina's top festivals draw huge crowds, with Front St closed to traffic during these
events. On Friday nights many Front St galleries are open from 7pm until 10pm for the
weekly Art Night . Enjoy wine, entertainment and hors d'oeuvres. The Maui Friday Town
Party is held in Lahaina on the 2nd Friday of the month (see box on opposite page).
