Hawaiʻi the Big Island
The Big Island, larger than all of the other Hawaiian islands combined, contains a
staggering diversity of landscapes. Moonscape lava deserts spread across the western
side of the island, while thick groves of hardwood jungle cling to black sea cliffs in
the east, all separated by snow-capped Mauna Kea.
