Tours
Kualoa Ranch GUIDED TOUR
MAP
( 800-231-7321, 237-7321; www.kualoa.com ; 49-560 Kamehameha Hwy; tours adult/child 3-12yr
from $26/15; tours 9am-3pm; ) Almost irresistibly scenic, this tour-bus destination is
actually a 4000-acre working cattle ranch. If you want to see where Hurley built his Lost
golf course, where Godzilla left his footprints or where Jurassic Park kids hid from dino-
saurs, take a 4WD tour of filming locations. The ranch's horseback trail rides (minimum
age 10 years) lack giddy-up, though.
Reserve tours online at least a few days in advance for the best rates and to avoid dis-
appointment; walk-ups are welcome on a space-available basis.
Tropical Farms GUIDED TOUR
MAP

tours 11am Mon-Sat) Sure, it's a kitschy tourist trap, but everything for sale here is island-
grown. The open-air shop overflows with various flavors of macadamia nuts, fruit jams
and sauces. Learn what guava trees and pineapple plants look like on the bus-and-boat
tour that visits flowering gardens, orchards, coconut groves and a few TV and movie loc-
ations.
