Destination
The Destination section lets you choose to either rename iles in the same
folder, move the renamed iles to another folder, or copy the renamed iles to
another folder.
New Filenames
The New Filenames section lets you change the ile's name based on speciic
criteria from the drop-down list:
• The Text option replaces the image names with text that you specify in
the text ield.
• New Extension lets you change the ile's extension to another image
extension. This option is a great way to bulk change not only ile names
but also their extensions.
• Current Filename lets you edit the current ile name, such as choosing to
show only numbers, only text, or remove the name.
• Preserved Name is similar to the previous option.
• Sequence Number renames the images to include a sequence of
numbers and sets the number of digits the name will include.
• Sequence Letters changes the ile names to a sequence of letters, which
can be either upper- or lowercase.
• Date Time changes the ile's speciic date, such as the creation date or the
modiied date.
• Metadata lets you choose to rename the iles based on speciic metadata
information such as the width, height, and resolution.
Folder Name renames the iles by including the folder name.
String Substitution replaces a speciic part of the name as
mentioned earlier.
