home icon, the Bridge launch icon, the Panel view icon (which lets you
choose which parts are displayed and which are hidden), and the search
icon (which lets you search in the folder for speciic iles and images).
The iles being browsed appear when you click the Browse Files icon,
which lets you navigate and preview iles and folders. It also includes
functions similar to those of the content area in the Adobe Bridge, such
as the Zoom Slider and sorting options.
The Setting icon opens the Mini Bridge settings, such as the Bridge
launch options and the Mini Bridge appearance options, such as the
user interface brightness and image backdrop colors that appear behind
the image.
Adobe Bridge Preferences
The Preferences dialog box (Figure 3.5) allows you to edit the Adobe Bridge
program preferences; you can access the Preferences dialog box with
Edit > Preferences or CTRL + K (CMD + K). The Preferences dialog box
includes the following information:
• General information, which includes information about the appearance,
program behavior, and default favorite folders.
The Thumbnails section includes information about the maximum size of
the processed iles and the metadata associated with the thumbnail.
