Managing Resources Using
Adobe Bridge
Most design ideas may require working with more than one application
simultaneously; each of these applications has its own ile format and
setting. This necessitates being able to handle these diferent application
formats easily and having a central location to handle project iles. It has
been a while since Adobe has applied the integration concept between its
products; this concept makes it easy to work with multiple ile formats in the
project and transfer these iles between diferent Adobe products. Along
with the integration concept, Adobe introduced Adobe Bridge as a central
point for you to view, arrange, and manage diferent Adobe iles.
As a central point for communicating with all Adobe products, Adobe Bridge
navigates iles in your computer or network, and lets you search for iles,
arrange iles, manage resources, and apply smart batch actions to iles or
folders; you can also easily open each ile in its associated application just
by double-clicking the iles. Adobe Bridge can be accessed as a standalone
application, or you can easily ind the Browse Files command in any of
the Adobe products, which allows you to open Adobe Bridge to
browse iles.
