4. In the display area under the control tools, set the display of the model
to show the model mesh and wireframe structure (Figure 16.7).
5. At the top of the Tools area on the left side of the model preview area is
a button that says Foto 3D CX > PS. Click this to send the model to
Photoshop.
6. A dialog box appears to let you specify whether the model will be
Texture Paint Ready. This option makes the model ready for 3D painting
using the painting tools in Photoshop, such as the brush tool. Check this
box and click OK.
7. Open Photoshop. You will see a dialog box appears to let you create a
new document for the imported 3D model or select its destination if
there are already open documents in Photoshop.
8. In the Document dialog box, choose the document that you would like
to import the 3D model into. If you are creating a new document, choose
the document name in the Name ield and press OK.
9. The 3D model opens in a new document and appears in the Layer panel
as a 3D layer that you can edit using the 3D tools. Open the 3D texture
layers and notice that the 3D model has one difuse texture applied to it,
along with the other texture efects. This texture structure depends on
the imported model.
Although the output mesh of this process is a low-polygon model and not as
accurate as creating the model from scratch, it provides an easy method to
