One of the features that is notable about the Export feature in After Efects is
that you can export the 3D animation as a Flash SWF ile or Flash FLV video
directly without the need to open Flash. The SWF Export feature can export
the content as vector-editable content or bitmaps. When you export the
content as an SWF ile, the SWF dialog box (Figure 15.9) includes the
following features:
• Images: Includes information about the quality of the exported bitmaps
and how the unsupported efect will be exported. After Efects can either
ignore the unsupported features or convert it to bitmaps.
• Audio: Concerns the exported audio quality, such as sample rates,
channels, and bit rate.
• Options: Includes diferent sections such as the looping options, prevents
the import of the SWF content, adds the object names and web links
markers, and settings for whether Illustrator artwork will be lattened.
Let's see how to export the animation we have as SWF content that you can
play on the web, desktop, or mobile devices:
1. While the 3Dcar_afterefects.aep is still open, choose File > Export >
Adobe Flash Player (SWF).
2. The Save dialog box appears to save your ile as 3Dcar_afterefects.swf.
3. The SWF Settings dialog box appears. Set the quality of the JPEG based
on the destination of your ile. For example, if you will publish the SWF
ile to the web, it is better to keep the JPEG quality low enough to
