Render Preparations
Now that you've gotten to this chapter, you've gone through the process of
creating and animating 3D content in Photoshop. You've also seen how to
add textures and light and how to set the camera view for the 3D objects.
This chapter takes you through the next step: preparing the 3D object or 3D
animation for inal export or render process. The render process is where we
create images and video animation iles in commonly used formats out of
the 3D scene source.
The render process converts the 3D scenes to images and video animation
based on the render settings. The process has a wide range of options that
determine the inal result. Before we jump to the render process (and the
export process, in the next chapter), we will cover here the diferent render
settings and how to prepare your 3D content for inal rendering into any of
the commonly used 3D formats or exporting to video animation or image
sequences.
Note: The render
options are related to
the selected 3D layer.
You can set diferent
render options for each
layer separately.
The wide range of inal 3D rendering results depend on the 3D render
options, which specify how the 3D content details such as faces, meshes,
vertices, and texture maps will be rendered. Furthermore, the render process
is afected by the light and camera view of the object.
