Creating a Frame Animation
After reviewing the main functions in the Frame animation, in the following
example, you'll see how to use Frame animation when animating 3D models
in two dimensions. Actually, the Frame panel does not support 3D animation
in the 3D space. However, we will animate the spaceship in the following
example in only two dimensions by moving it from the left side of the screen
to the right side:
1. Create a new ile similar to the previous example and insert the video
layer as the animation background and the 3DS ile of the spaceship
model.
2. Place the spaceship on the left side of the screen.
3. Make sure that the Animation panel is set to the Frame Animation mode
by clicking the Convert to Frame Animation icon on the bottom right of
the Animation panel.
4. Select the irst animation frame and click the Duplicate Selected Frames
icon.
5. In the second frame move the spaceship to the right side of the
screen.
6. Select the irst frame of the animation, and click the Tween icon to create
in-between frames that display the animation of the spaceship from the
left to the right.
