3. Navigate to the ile named 3Dspace_ship and click OK to add it to a new
3D layer.
4. Open the 3D panel; click on the irst icon from the left on the bottom

the object.
5. Click and hold on the 3D Camera tool in the Tools bar; choose the 3D
Camera Roll tool.
6. Drag over the 3D model to the right and the left.
7. When you drag the mouse to the right, the model rolls to the left and
vice versa. This means that the model is not moving: the camera is rolling
to the left and right. Also, notice that both the 3D object and the 3D
plane are rolling (Figure 10.3).

The same concept applies to all the 3D camera control tools.
3D Pan View Tool
Use this tool to pan over the object with the camera in any of the three
dimensions. The 3D Pan View tools work similar to the 3D Pan tool, except
that they move the camera itself, not the object.
Note: When you pan the
camera to the right, the
object moves to the left,
and vice versa.
Using the 3D Pan View tool is similar to the 3D Pan tool; you use the
numerical values and drag over the object. When dragging over the object
using the 3D Pan View, the mouse arrow changes to show the direction for
the camera pan.
