Just as the Plane and Two-Sided Plane options create a 3D plane shape,
the Cylinder and Sphere shapes create full 3D shapes out of the grayscale
layer. In an earlier example, we created a chess rook based on a model
created in Collada 3D. In this example, we will use the grayscale layer to
create a chess pawn from scratch in Photoshop. The gradient we will use
will identify the height and depth that will form the chess pawn model.
Here's how:
1. Create a new Photoshop ile.
2. Create a new layer with a white background.
3. From the Styles icon in the Layers panel, select the gradient overlay.
