out of scope? What is the required functionality of
the system? What are the nice to haves that can be
addressed later?
Anticipated Benefits
What will we gain by undertaking this project?
What are the tangible qualitative and quantitative
benefits to the organization? What are the
intangible benefits to the organization? how will
these be measured throughout the project?
roles and
responsibilities/Staffing
Who are the key stakeholders that can both positively
and negatively affect the project? What are their
roles? Who are the internal resources that will be
dedicated to this project? Will they be part-time or
full-time? how many hours can they dedicate to
this project? Who is responsible for what? Are these
clearly defined? Is the project complex where a
responsibility assignment matrix (rACI) is needed?
Who are in the following standard roles and groups
for the project: executive sponsor, project manager,
