Open yourself to the sounds, sights and smells of your Gaia place. Feeling deeply
at peace, take a few deep breaths and once again taste the presence of oxygen in
the air.
(Begin at 'oxygen in the air'): You are an oxygen atom swirling about in the at-
mosphere at a time when oxygen has increased to dangerously high levels. You
feel a sense of overcrowding as you bump into many other oxygen brothers, all in-
tent on passionately combining with almost any chemical being they meet in their
wanderings.
(To 'dissolved oxygen in deep waters'): You are blown far out to sea by a fierce
gale that is churning the North Atlantic into a great mass of foam and swirling
water. Suddenly a wave catches you, and you feel its cool, watery embrace as you
dissolve into Gaia's ocean realm. Here everything is much slower, much more
settled than in the air. You feel the great calm that comes from being held so
closely by this huge body of moving water.
