On October 17, 2014, a new Android version 5.0 was released. Google announced that the
newest version of Android 5.0 should be available to the Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012 and 2013)
and 10 in early November 2014,around the release date for the Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and
Nexus Player.
Let's now develop our first Wear application.
Developing an Android Wear App
In this section you'll learn now how to develop two types of Android wearable applications.
As first step, you'll see a how to run a wearable timer application using the Android AVD
emulator. Then you'll learn how to configure an Android smartphone or tablet to send
notification to the developed Android emulator Wear device.
