Plastics and metals are the most commonly used materials in 3D printing so far, but other
material options might catch up in the future.

Wax : Wax is often used for lost-wax casting in manufacturing of jewelry. Solidscape which
now belongs to Stratasys has 3D jet printers that print in wax. 3D Systems Projet 3500 series
also print in wax.
