mechanisms to defend and monitor the technical infrastructure.
Physical infrastructure includes campus, building, floor, room/office, utility
and communications services, and work areas. It also includes access to these com-
ponents and areas. he IA 2 view physical infrastructure addresses IA services and
IA mechanisms to defend and monitor the physical infrastructure. Some examples
include property entry management (e.g., driveway gates, video), building entry
management (e.g., guards, badges, radio frequency identification [RFID], biomet-
ric authentication), power backup, environmental controls for temperature and
humidity, and much more. Table 2.1 provides example physical infrastructure
considerations.
2.5.7
Intraorganizational/Interorganizational
Intraorganizational refers to within the organization. Interorganizational
implies between or among organizations. IA 2 F intraorganizational refers to people,
relationships, processes, communications, connectivity, data transport, infrastruc-

between your organization and other individuals, groups, or organizations.
he IA 2 topic also uses endo - and exo - prefixes to distinguish between the
domains of inside the organization and outside the organization, respectively. IA 2
uses the prefixes intra - and inter - for relationships, connectivity, or interactions.
The difference between internal and external, and intraorganizational and interor-

The scope of control framework (chapter 12) consists of the following:
