Backup and recoery
With respect to information technology, backup is the act or process of making a
secondary copy of information in the event adverse circumstances destroy, corrupt,
or otherwise render unusable the primary media. Recovery is the act or process of
restoring the secondary copy to production. Backup and recovery are operational
constructs within the IA 2 P.
