Numerical simulation is performed to prove how the tracking functionality works. We set

We report here simulation of two different paths of particle P . A linear path, in the
direction of the z -axis, and helix paths, respectively.
For both simulated paths, we compute the mean error and the standard deviation error on
the difference between the real path and the path estimated with the proposed method.
From the simulated images, we evaluate the corresponding points P 1 and P 2 in the sensor
plane for both paths. By the knowledge of the P 1 and P 2 coordinates and through
Eq. (10.1) , we reconstructed the paths. Figure 10.9 shows the comparison between the
